Prof. Tzankova graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Medical University - Sofia and has worked at the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy and Toxicology since 1991. She holds specialties in Clinical Pharmacy and Toxicology and Toxicological Analysis, and is a European Registered Toxicologist (ERT).

  • Experimental toxicology and preclinical toxicology.
  • Nanotoxicology and drug safety.
  • Toxicological education, thesis supervision and doctoral mentorship.
  • National and international project experience, including Italy-based collaborations and COST participation.

Role in MU OmicsLab

Prof. Tzankova provides the experimental toxicology environment in which MU OmicsLab develops. Her role is especially important for experimental design, validation logic, toxicological interpretation and co-mentorship of student and doctoral work.

MU OmicsLab role: internal expert and senior scientific consultant.
